Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6 August 2026

This policy explains how Blueprint Trading handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us or use our services. It is intended to support compliance with POPIA and other privacy laws that may apply to our international visitors and clients.

1. Who we are

Blueprint Trading is the trading name of Securities Assets Trading Blueprint, based in South Africa and serving clients internationally. For purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), we act as the responsible party for personal information collected through this website and in connection with our services.

2. Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, company or organisation, service interests, project requirements and any other information you voluntarily provide. We may also receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages and website usage data from our hosting, security or analytics providers.

3. How we collect information

We collect information when you submit an enquiry, communicate with us, request or receive services, or interact with this website. Please do not submit confidential financial credentials, trading account passwords, private keys or unnecessary special personal information through the contact form.

4. Why we use personal information

We process personal information to respond to enquiries; prepare proposals; provide and support contracted services; maintain business records; improve website performance and security; meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting duties; establish or defend legal claims; and, where permitted, communicate relevant service information. Processing is based on consent, steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, legal obligations or our legitimate business interests, as applicable.

5. Contact forms and service providers

Our enquiry form is processed through Formspree and delivered to Blueprint Trading's business email. We may use reputable providers for hosting, email, analytics, security, document storage and professional support. These providers may process information only for the relevant service and are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for security and operation. If optional analytics, advertising or non-essential cookies are introduced, we will provide appropriate notice and consent controls where required. Browser settings can be used to restrict cookies, although this may affect website functionality.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share it with authorised service providers, professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties when required by law, necessary to protect rights or security, or needed to deliver a service you requested. We require recipients to handle information lawfully and only for an authorised purpose.

8. International and cross-border processing

Because we serve international clients and may use global technology providers, personal information may be processed outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient is subject to a law, agreement or binding corporate rules providing an adequate level of protection consistent with POPIA and other applicable requirements.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, contractual and support needs, dispute resolution, or legal and record-keeping requirements. Information that is no longer required is securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified where reasonably practicable.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Where required by law, affected individuals and the Information Regulator will be notified of qualifying security compromises.

11. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct, update or delete inaccurate or unlawfully held information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; or ask about our use of your information. We may need to verify your identity and retain information where the law requires it.

12. Complaints

Please contact us first so that we can address your concern. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator using the current contact channels published at inforegulator.org.za, or with another competent privacy authority where applicable.

13. Children

Our website and professional services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without appropriate authorisation. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact us.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal, operational or technology changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate additional notice.
